I like to take what people already expect out of a song and do the exact opposite. Life's too short to do what everyone else is doing, turn a knob and see what it does.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I'm originally from NJ but I'm in Nashville for college and the scene is wild, we've got musicians of all kinds and they all make crazy music from indie rock to rap and even funk.
