After the release of our debut single “Delilah,” We releases our second single “Maroon”. Inspired by one of the member’s own personal experiences, the song tells the story of a guy who tries to understand a girl’s feelings towards him. The guy keeps trying to encourage the girl to be more open to him and his willingness to wait even though it will take a long time. The song tries to encapsulate a person’s patience for the one he loves.
We have just entered the music industry at the end of 2021. So our name is still unfamiliar to many people. But one thing that amazed us is that this song, "Maroon", has reached 10k streamers on Spotify within a month. Even though this number is still small, it is something we should be proud of.

MaroonMoon is an Indonesian indie pop band and also independent artist from Jakarta, Indonesia. Formed in 2020, the band is composed of singer Ray Theodore, guitarists Ilham Wahyu and Aldiransyah, bassist Hamzah Assad, keyboardist Akbar Nur Cahyo, and drummer Fahri Harun. We are a group of people with different backgrounds. Each member of us also has a different genre of music. But this is an advantage for us where each instrument holder has his own way of playing and we mix it into a song. Many people don't believe that we compose songs in the bedroom, not in the studio. With minimal equipment, we make songs sincerely and wholeheartedly.
