Interview: SATTY

by | Mar 3, 2021 | New Artist Interviews, New in Hip Hop

Artist Name: SATTY

New Song/Release Title: Suicidal (Remix)

Tell us something about you:

As an artist, I would describe myself as versatile. I have the ability to flow on a number of different types of beats, whether its storytelling, turning up, chill vibes, or r&b songs. This versatility allows for me to make any track sound good. Perfecting my delivery is something I still need to work on, but there is steady improvement in that area.

I grew up in the state of New Hampshire, shoutout to my 603 folks! But at the start of high school I moved down south to Frisco, Texas, where I currently reside. The Dallas-Fort Worth area has a lot of hot new artists on the come up and I definitely believe that I one day will be one of those hot new artists.

One major experience was the common high school breakup, which seems like a big deal at the time, but it really is just the way of life and the lessons can be applied in the future. I apply the lessons I learned and utilize my experiences to add an authentic rawness to my music. However, not everything I rap is 100% true; I am definitely not a killer and will never be one, but the lyrics sell, so I have to keep doing what the fans demand.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

One of my favorite artists of all time is Lil Skies. If I could collaborate with him, it would truly be a dream come true.

Let’s have a listen to the new SATTY track:
