Interview: Pual Saint

by | Mar 30, 2021 | New Artist Interviews, New in Hip Hop

Artist Name: Pual Saint

New Song/Release Title: DANE (Feat. BLAVKGÜARD)

Tell us something about you:
That's kind of hard and let me tell you why, the reason why is because I am still working on myself, as an ARTIST. Constantly evolving and finding myself and building myself to become who I want to be. Ultimately I feel I am almost there, especially with this album right around the corner! We dropping bops and hits!

Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
I'm actually from Florida, Orange Park, the scene here is very, nonexistence. It's sad because like Jacksonville and Orange Park were two huge music scenes, in my teen years we had "Welcome to Rockville" and then that got canned and we have several of music fest following and that got canned and it sucks you know? Because Florida has birthed some of the biggest stars, we should literally be like California, having movies made here (like we use to) and having an exploding music scene. Overtime the music scene has moved to Cali and New York, hopefully with me and a few other friends we can really bring back the music scene with a bang.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
All the music I produce and write is based on real life experiences, so like with DANE, it was about me in a very trauma codependent relationship with a friend, who was my best friend. We've been through so much but we were never good to be friends because of things we went through, it will always be a lingering issue. So I am blessed to have had that experience and to be able to make closure with such a hard time in my life with person who will always be my best friend. Many people still don't get it, some do and that's fine. What counts is that we as artist are able to take this trauma and make it into art.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Lady Gaga
