Interview: NPTNNE

by | Apr 24, 2021 | New Artist Interviews, New Rap Music Artists

Artist Name: NPTNNE

Tell us something about you that fans should know:

I am simply a courrier – i move a set of data from one place to another. Theres nothing unique about me or my music – I just hope to convey they artistry already present in live in a more poignant way. That we all have a certain rhythm and beliefs that are bound by our idea of what beauty and perfection are – or our aesthetic values. By creating an atmosphere( sonically) of these aesthetic sensibilities I give people an opportunity to see themselves in an idealized rendition (sonically); as well as present a more complete rendition of the aesthetics of the group – or ideal of the group i.e. peace, love, prosperity, progress, etc. These are things I communicate through my art.

Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?

Im not really from anyone place; birth happens whenever there is a traumatic and transformative experience, I try to keep an open mind that way and let life present to me what I need to know, with respect to everyone. Wherever I'm at the music is beautiful because of the unique nature of linear time and the unique frequencies we each emanate as humans in response to certain situation. These frequencies are no different from that of color just at a much higher or much lower rate of oscillation or resonance.

How have your life experiences influenced your music?

Life is an experience – its is unbecoming as an artist to not to acknowledge the inherent order of life. Everything is in perfect harmony, as a musician all I'm doing is creating a scale model a watered down version of the immense amount of data already existence that encompasses artistic things such as rhythm, tempo, and color. These things already exist in nature and we are here to pick out the things that contribute to a positive ideology of self, nature, and the community (as artists). We are not the creators of the beauty that lie in our art – as energy cannot be created or destroyed; we are simply couriers and idealists. People who look at something, perhaps something challenging and say theres a silver lining there – its complete submission to the power of positivity and faith in the reality we live in. That there is something for us individually in reality that as we decipher the data of life we put together a work of art just as unique as a newborn baby. Music and art gives people the chance to reflect and see proof that they are special – because if an artist is able to take from a seemingly endless sea of data (that is reality) and make sense of it then surely your life makes sense – its just about where you look, where you decide to put attention towards. Simply we manifest what we think – we are what we believe; and if we believe that beauty can be had out of an endless almost meaningless sea of data – then we definitely have the power to change our lives for the better. Even if its something small; life is extraordinary and we can all live beautiful meaningful lives – you just need to look for the silver linings (the same way an artist looks for that special chord progression or beat).

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
