Tell us something about you that fans should know:
Honest. I’ve been at writing music And playing guitar since I was a young teenager. I’ve help write music in the bands, watch it burn & Crashkillsfour from my time spent in California, who were able to release albums on labels and do some US touring. I’ve always written about the unjust and negative things I see and witness day in and out, I’ve also written about person experiences and been able to express them in a meaningful and musical way. The best part of being in bands, beyond the friendships, was The ability to collaborate together and create something from nothing.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
Originally from Newport,RI. Literally an island on the east coast between Massachusetts and Connecticut. Newport had a great underground punk rock scene growing up and 2 local favorites , verbal assault (And the band) Belly came from the island area. Providence,RI has always had a strong Underground scene with bands from all walks stopping to play on way to boston or heading south to NYC. Club baby heads, the living room, the met hosted endless touring acts.
How have your life experiences influenced your music?
I’ve Been lucky enough to live in multiple places across the county, California,Philadelphia,Colorado,Rhode Island, over the years and it’s opened my eyes to all types of different people and different outlooks on life. So many different opinions out there. I’ve had my fair share of life experiences and it helps me stay grounded to the reality’s of life and try to write about some of them.
