Tell us something about you that fans should know:
My artist name is ukiyo but the way I got that name is a long story so I'll tell you guys about it another time, I'll tell you about my inspirations for now. I was heavily inspired by Juice WRLD, xxxtentacion, J Cole, Joey Bada$$, Tyler the Creator, and many more. I like to call myself versatile/diverse because I can work with many varying music styles and I'm still trying to find my voice as an artist. I can go from lyrical with a hidden message to singing with a poetic and flower-filled meadow type of vibe, or heartbreak, of course.
Where are you from and what’s the music scene like there?
My name is Daniel. I currently live in Alaska and I've been doing music for around 3 years but have only recently been taking it seriously and to a whole new level. The music scene around here is pretty boring and you see little to no great artists that come up from here. I honestly don't even know what the most popular music genre around here is.
