Recording Artist: The Savage Patch Kidds

“The Savage Patch Kidds are a genre-bending duo comprised of Canadian, Ramona
Vogue, and kidd Chaos of the U.S.A. The group was formed in 2019 after a fateful
meeting in Los Angeles, where the two discovered their mutual infatuation with
writing and performing music. After quickly learning each other’s style, they wrote,
recorded, and published their thought provoking EP, “1991.”

Growing up in Toronto, Ramona Vogue learned the ins and outs of classic rock at an
early age. Influenced by her dad’s love of progressive artists, while developing her
own taste in sound – Ramona’s library of musical taste is vast. From her days as a
singing, dancing princess at sea, to days of hitting the stage with various bands,
Ramona Vogue continues to develop her own unique performance style and sound.
kidd Chaos threw his hat into the musical ring only after a successful stab at poetry.
His wide-ranging influence, from hip-hop to hardcore, throttles his style in lyricism
and performance. One could challenge many aspects of his musical approach, but he
is unequivocally “hype.”

Much like the Power Rangers converging to form Megazord, the Savage Patch Kidds
are forces as individuals. Together they are a monolith of style and energy. They
challenge the mold of the traditional artist – they are going to do it their way, like it
or not.”

Where are you from and what is the music scene like?
Ramona Vogue – Toronto: flourishing scene, bursting at the seams with talent. Big alternative scene, but any genre you want, you got it.

kidd Chaos – Pittsburgh/Los Angeles: Pittsburgh is underrated when it comes to music, but they have talent out the wazoo. LA is LA, need I say more?

What is your greatest source of inspiration?
MF Doom, Childish Gambino, Andre 3000

How have your life experiences influenced your music?
Both Ramona and kidd have wildly different backgrounds and it influences their writing style, attack, and message. Everybody has a sob story, we just choose to put ours toward our music.
